Notice is hereby given that the Lake Couuty Council intends at a Special Meeting to I>h held in the Lake County Council Chambers, Queenstown, on WEDNESDAY, 11th day of June, 1919, at 12 o'clock noon, to make and levy under sections 117 and 118 of " Tho Counties Act, 1908," and under sections 48 to 51 both inclusive, of "The Counties Act, 1908,'' and under sections 48 to 51 both inclusive, of " Rating Act, 1908," and all amendments thereto.a General Rate separately in each Riding of the County, viz., Arrow Riding, Cardrona Riding, Greenstone Riding, Matukituku Riding, Shotover Riding, Kingston Riding, and Queenstown Riding, of six farthings in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Lake County as appearing in the Lake County Valuation Rolls for the time being in force, and for the period or year commencon the Ist day of April, 1919, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1920. Such rate shall be payable in one sum at the office of the Lake County Council, at Queenstown from the Ist day of August, 1919, and the Valuation Rolls of the Lake County Council shall be open for inspection at the Laka County Office, Queenstown, to all Ratepayers on all office days between the hours of 10 o'clock in the forenoon, and 12 o'clock noon, up to and including the 9th day of June, 1919.
