been formed under the patronage of the King to assist the agriculturists of allied countries which have been invaded and devastated by the German armies. It was decided to forward the following remit to the annual Dominion Conference to be held shortly in Wellington—" That the agricultural and pastoral associations of the Dominion be asked to start and vigorously promote a movement for collecting funds for the settlement on the laud of ruined Belgian farmers, and that the Government be asked to subsidise any moneys collected JC for £.
