Notice to Miners. The North ritish Rubber Coy. last year sent a special representative to New Zealand to enquire into the Gumboot trade. The result of this visit has been that Boots. much superior to anything previously shipped to New Zealand are now being supplied. It is only necessary to see and feel the Boots to be convinced of their superiority. The ordinary Boot (now greatly improved upon) is named " The Dunedin," and a new Boot known as " 5956 '"' has been introduced. This latter Boot is in dull Rubber, and is fusion lined There is no heel, so that the leather sole can be fixed right across and a leather heel added. The result is that the strain is divided. 'I wo sample pairs of these Boots received by us in September last have been in constant use by miners ever since and give every appearance of lasting lor some time yet. The " S 95G " Boot is expensive, but we believe that miners will not object to this if they give the wear. Supplies can be procured from all Bootmakers and Storekeepers.
