Dredging returns : Sandy Point 48oz 9dwt, Chicago 340z lldwt, Royal Waimumu 30oz 15dwt, Waikaka Queen 2Goz lodwt, New Trafalgar 19oz l4dvvt, Molyneux Hydraulic 17oz 15dwt, Garden Gully 17oz 6dwt, Punt 13oz Bdwt, Olrig Boz lldwt.

For the monthly period ended July the New Zealand Crown Mines (Ltd.) ciushod and treated 2279 tons of ore for a yield of bullion valued at £4371. The return raises the total amount won from the mine to date to £693,758. The gold yield of West Australia for July was 128,555 fine ounces, valued ab £546,068. For the month ended July 13, the Waihi Gold Mining Company crushed and treated 26,999 tons of ore, which yielded bullion valued at £64,320. This return establishes a monthly record output by the mine. Tho nearest yield to the present record return was obtained in May last, when L 64.196 was realised from the treatment of 28,382 tons of ore. Since the inception of the company the grand total to date reaches the sum of L5,84C, 967. The total dividends paid up to June 1, 1907, represent L2,6C5,86G. A further dividend of 3s 6d is set down as payable on September 1. There was much jubilation in Wbodville on Thursday over the news that a big lode had been struck in the low level of the Maharahara copper mine. Many years have passed since copper was first discovered in the ranges, and many thousands have been spent endeavoring to locate the lode. Indications are that the lode is 30ft thick.
