LIONEL TERRY AT LARGE.

Escapes From Sunuysido. Lionel Terry who wis sentenced to death for the murder of a Chinese in Wellington in October last, but who was deemed to bo insane and removed to Sunnyside Asylum, escaped from that institution between 7 and S on Saturday night. He had been working about the asylum grounds as usual during the day, add was with the other inmates when they were assembled in the building for tea, bu*; when the inmates wore about to be locked in their cells Terry was missing and has not been seen since. All the windows were fastened and all the doors were locked at the time of his escape, and it is supposed that he either had a key to one of the doors or that his escape had been arranged for by his friends. Later. Terry was re-captured at Sheffield on Tuo day night.
