DISASTROUS TYPHOON.
Latest particulars Roiicorning the Hung Kong typhoon state that 10,000 lives were lust. The increased death roll is due to the loss of the whole of the fishing lleet of GOO junks. Active measures are being taken for the relief of the sufferers. The Nord Deutsche? Lloyd Company has given £"500 to the relief fund and the Chinese in 'San Francisco have cabled 10,000 dollars.
