SALE AT MOA FLAT.

The sale of sheep at Moa Flat was largely attended by buyers. Altogether 20,000 sheep changed hands, but prices were languid compared with recent sales. The whole sale was transacted in half an hour :

Lot. 1.—1,517 cross-bred we'hers, 4 and 6-tooth, 18s Gd (1,403 4s Gd).—Duncan Cameron, Otautau Lot 2 —2,035 fat wethers, 21s 9d (£2,212 18s). —N.Z. Refrigerating Company. Lot 3.—1,254 half-bred wethers, 4-tooth, —2OO were taken by M'll wraith Bros, (Morven, Canterbury) at 16s 6d (£105), and the balance (1,053) fell to J. O'Neill, Gore, at 16* (£B4B 4s).

Lot 4.—1,210 crossbred wethers, 2-tooth, 21s 6J (£1,300 15s).— David Murray, Warepa. Lot 5.—3,500 crossbred lambs mixed sexes.—Walter Clarke, Woodlands, ionic 1,500 at 14s 6d (£1,087 10s), and the balance (2,000) went to Donald Stalker, Kdendale, at the same jirice, the value of his purchase being £1,450. Lot 6—2,200 full mouthed ewes, 19s (£2,o9o).—Fred. Price, Invercargill. Lot. 7.—900 6-tooth ewes, 23* 9d (£1,068 15s). —Norman M'Kilehie, Heriot. Lot 8.-1,500 freezing wethers, 19s 7d (£1,468 15s).—N.Z. Refrigerating Company. Lot 9.-442 halfbred ewes, 4-tooth, 22s 6d (£497 ss) Wilkins Bros., Moa Flat. Lot 10.—088 crossbred owes, 8-tooth, 250

went to Wm. Paid, Omakan, at 22s id £279 3s 4d), ami the other 33S was taken by F;ed Price at 2'2s (£371 16a.)
