THE PREMIER'S ANNIVERSARY.
Saturday was the twelfth anniversary of Mr Seddon's assumption of office as Premier. Speaking at a gathering it Petone Mr Seddon passed under ••eview the period during which he had been head of the Government, He said that judging by the number of congratulatory telegrams he had received there were many who believed the couptry had not suffered by his being Prime Minister. Other nations would have to build their legislation on the lines followed by JSTew Zealand if there was to be peace between capital and labor in those coantries.
