A iine of magnificent bullocks from Masterton brought £l4 15s to £lB 6s, ordinary steers £6 7s 6d to £lO, heifers £5 17s 6:1 to £S, cows £5 to £9 2s 6d. Beef, 25s to 27b p«r 1001b. Fat Sheep— A large entry, including a fair proportion of firat-class ewes and wethers. Butohor3 competed eagerly for best ewes, giving beyond limits of export buyers. Wethers, extra heavy, 22s to 30s, best freezers 18s to 21s 9d, lighter 15s to 17s Gd, merinos 10s 6d to 13s 9d, ewes, extra heavy, 22s to 28s, best butchers' 16s 6d to 19s, lighter 123 to 16s. Fat Lambs —2000 entered, a fair proportion first-class quality. Export buyers competed keenly and last week's values were maintained. Tegs, 15s 3d to 17s Bd, freezers 12s 6d to 15s, butchers, lis to 14s 6d, Pi,f ß —A large entry, but, carers having reduced their limits, the sale was a dragging one. L'aconers 45s to 695, equal to 4£d per lb, porkers 30s to 40s, 4£d to sd, stores 13a to 26a we£»ners 7s 6d to 12s.

JLJUHNSIDH. Fat Catlle—l 68 yarded. Competition wai keim, and prices advanced, ox beef bringing from 25s to 26s per 100 lb. Best bullocks £d 10« to £M ss, medium £7 15s to £9, best cows and heifers £7 10* to £O, medium £G to £7 ss. She*p—2s42 penned. Best wether 17s to IS* 6d, medium 14s Gd to lGri 6d, best ewes 15s to IGs Gd—extra heavy IDs Gd, medium 13s to 14" 9d. Lambs—43B yarded, prices being Gd to Is higher. Best 12a to 13s Gd, medium 10s to lis 9d. Figs—l3B penned; prices firm. Suckers 8a to 12s, slips 14s to 20s, stores 23s to 275, porkers 30s to 445, baconers 46s to GOs, heavy Gsd.
