During a debate in committee Mr Kerr, a. Labor member, expressed the hope that they would get a better chairman next time. He' refused to withdraw the remark, and was suspended from the House's sittings for twenty-four hours.
The Executive have extended the prohi bition on New Zealand swine to six months
