Resolved —That fr.r the purpose of securing the payment of the principal and of providing the Interest and Sinking Fund on a Special Loan of £92-2 los 7d, raised by this Council by Special Order passed on the 15th of July, 1901', the Council do stake and levy a Special Rate of Is in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Anew town; Such Special Rate shall be an annually recurring rate, payable by equal half-yearly payments on the Ist day of October and the 1 t day of April during the enrreuev of the said Loan, ami shall be levied year by year until the said Loan of £9'22 ! 13s 7d is paid off.
