Messrs D.ilgt-ty and Co. report as follows : 11 ibbitskins.—We held our weekly auction sale as usual at the Agricultural Hall on Monday when we submitted a good catalogue, comprising all sorts There was the usual attendance of buyers, and although bidding was brisk to a point, prices were down all round with the exception of prime winters, from LI to 14d per lb according to quality, owing to the cables received from London reporting a fall there on off season skins. We quote: Prime picked winters to 18|d, medium winters 15Ad to 16LI, early autumns and winters to 14Id, autumns BLI to summers and early autumns 6d to Bd, blacks lOd to 16£ d, fawns Sheepskins. —We offered a fair siz-d catalogue at our sale on Tuesday at the Agricultural Hall. The attendance of buyers was up to the average, and prices ruled firm at last week’s rotes. Full wooded merino skins 4Ad to 4Jd, shore wooded do. 3£d to 4d, full wooded half bred 4d to 4Ad, half wooded cross bre 1 3d to 3Jd inferior 2d to 2| 1. Hides.—The demand continues good, and all sorts coming to hand meet with a ready sale ;—Prime heavy ox 4|d to 4-|d, extra heavy and well flayed to sd, medium ox 3|d to 4£d, light 3|d to 3|d, heavy cows 3£d to 4d, medium cows to 3£d, inferior sorts 2d to 21Tallow.—We have buyers for all our consignments at full market rates.
