ARROW JOCKEY CLUB.
A mooting of Committee was held in the Pubss office on Saturday evening last and was attended by the President (Mr J. Bovin, in the chair), and Messrs Romans, Cotter (2), Davidson, Jopp (2), Illingworth, and do la Perrelle. The programme submitted by the Committee appointed was approved. There are seven races ; -Maiden of lOsovs., Maiden Trot lOsovs., Arrow Handicap of i-lsovs , Hack Bsovs.. Trot 14sovs.,
Oj >en Hack belter Itesovs., Handicap Hurdle Rico lOsovs., for horses owned by members of the Wakatipu Mounted Kitles three months prior to date ( f races to l)e ridden by members of the minimum weight 10 stone. The total amount of st ike money is £7O. The trots are to be either saddle or harness. The next meeting will be held on Saturday, 7th September, collectors in the. meantime to report progress. The programme is an attractive one and the nominations are expected good. 9^
