TASMANIA'S FINANCES.
HOBART, August 9. In the Assembly the Treasurer delivered his Financial Statement. The revenue for the past year was £1,055,000, and the expenditure*£924,ooo. He estimated that the present year would close with a deficiency, and that that State would lose a round hundred thousand pounds by joining the Federation, even under the most favorable circumstances.
