Totice is hereby eiven that it is the intention of tha Lake County Council to mate and lew a general r.te of FIVE FARTHINGS in the Pound under the •• Rating Act. 1894," and the " Co'd Duty Abolition and Mining Property Rating Act, 1890," upon the Rateable values of all mining properties, within the Lake County as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being in force ; that such rate shall be made for the period commencing Ist APRIL, 1901, and ending on &lst MARCH, 1902, and shall be payable at the County Offices, Queenstown, in one sum on the 2nd SEPTEMBER, 1901. The particulars of the Rate have been transcribed into a rate book, in the form and manner required by the !• RRting Act, 1894," and, such rate book is kept at the County Offices situated at Queenstown, and is open for inspection to all ratepayers during office truss. *' ' ■ " J&O.
