The anniversary social in connection with the Wesleyan Church, Arrowtown, was held in the Atheneum Hall oi. Wednesday evening 18th inst. The weather was fine, consequently there was a large attendance. Mr Christian occupied the chair. A large choir of adults and children (under the baton of Mr A. Inglis) took part in various choruses. Several quartets, duets, and solos were rendered by the adult members of the choir. Addresses were given by the Rev. Mr Reid (of Cromwell) and Mr Christian.
