At Westfield Yards on Wednesday, fat cattle were yarded in usual num. ■ bers, and the demand was scarcely as good as the previous week. Best oxen sold to 31s per 1001b, others 28s to 30s ; cows and heifers, 26s to 29s 5 steers selling at from L 9 2s fid to Ll3 17s 6d : cows and heifers, L 4 iOs to LIG 10s. Vpal calves again came forward in good numbers, and sold a shide easier. Extra heavy vealers sold at from L-i -is to Lo 5s ; heavyweight, Lo .12s to Li ; merlium weights JL2 iOs to Lo 7s ; lighter, oOs to L' 2 os; others, 20s to 27 s ; smaller and fresh dropped, 3s to 17s. Sheep : feus were well filled, most of them being of excellent quality. Last week's prices ruled. AVettiers iv wool sold at from Ll 4a b'd to Ll 9s (id ; shorn wether?, well fatted, Ll 2s 6J to LI 4s Gd ; others, 15s (id to Ll Is ; ewes in wool, Ll 2s to Ll Gs {Jd ; shorn do., 13s Gd to Ll, Lambs in average supply sold at from 17a Gd to Ll 2s l)d for best ; others, 10s Gd to His (Jd. Tigs were yarded in extra supply, and as the v arket receded, prices dropped. Large baconers sold at L 3 10s to L 4 16s ; baconors. L 2 18s to Lo 10s ; large porkers, L 2 10s to L 2 IGs ; porker, 30s to L 2 5s ; slips, 20s to 28s ; weaners, 8s to i7s.
