WAIWERA SHOW.
Fine weather favoured the 7th Annual Show of the Waitemata A. and P. Association, held on Saturday last, when there was a good attendance, and the Show was a successful one. The cattle entered were a fine lot, though there was not a great deal of competition. Horses were a strong feature, and the jumping as usual was good. Among the events for which there were entries from this district the following were successful: —Mr A; Hunter took first prize in the Gelding or Filly class ; R. Hunter second for Pony, 14^ hands and under; F. Dye, first for Hack Hst. and second in high jump; J. Reynard, second for Ladies' Hack ; R Hunter, second in Jumping Competition ;.T. H. Callagher and J. Newman tried in the Bareback Riding over hurdles; Miss J. Little, third in Lady rider; F Dye second for buggy horse, and C.' Kelly, second in Boy rider.
