MAYORAL ELECTIONS

November 19, WVstport.—James Suiated was reelected mayor, unopposed. Masteiton.—The candidates nominated for the office of mayor are Messrs E. Feist and A. P. Renall. Hawera. Jumps Davidson was elected mayor, unopposed. Dunedin.—For the city mayoralty Councillor Gourley and Charles Chapman, solicitor, were nominated. The former is certain to be returned. Timaru.—Mr D. M. Koss has been elected mayor unopposed. B'enheim.—-Mr George Riley has been re elected for the mayoralty, unopposed. November 20. Wellington.—John Duthie was elected mayor, unopposed. Nelson.—John Sharp was re-elected mayor, unopposed. Thames.—Alexander Brodie and W. Carpenter were nominated for the mayoralty. Auckland.—A. E. Devore was reelected mayor of Auckland, aud Isaac Coates re-elected mayor of Hamilton. Christchuvch.—E. Salter, retiring mayor of St. Albans, was re-elected. Wauganni,—The following nominations for mayoralty were made to-day : James Laird (the ptesent mayor) and Alfred John Parsons.
