The grants to be made in the current year for settlement roads in the Waitomo County are listed in the Public Works Estimates tabled in the House of Representatives last evening.' The details are given below, the first figure in each case being the voted for 1939-40, the second figure the amount voted during 1938-39, and the third figure the amount expended during the latter year.
