LADIES' SECTION.

The following is the draw for a flag competition for Saturday, a trophy for which has been donated by Mrs. Were:— Mrs. Wilson v. Mrs. Sinclair; Mrs. Kennedy v. Miss Walker; Mrs. Were v. Mrs. Ormsby; Mrs. Hetet v. Mrs. Smart; Mrs. Barker v. Mrs. Prescott; Mrs. Hotson v. Mrs. Gould; Miss Silcock v. Mrs. Isaac; Miss Podevin v. Mrs. O'Connell; Mrs. Chadwick v. Mjss Craig; Miss Burgess v. Mrs. Thornton; Mrs. Trapski v. Mrs. Evans; Mrs. Marwood v. Miss Hotson; Miss Calver v. Miss Hine; Mrs. Symond v. Mrs. Duncan.

The following players will compete for a trophy presented by Miss Silcock; please hand in cards:— Mrs. Dick v. Miss Neil; Miss Ward v. Mrs. Fenton; Miss . Were v. Miss Davenport; Miss Palmer v. Mrs. Board; Mrs. Hebden v. Miss Hotson; Miss Melville v. Miss Sanderson; Miss Bishop v. Miss McNaught; Miss Seagrove v. Miss Rothery; Miss Kennedy v. Miss Vandersloot. Good cards were handed in last week-end for Mrs. Broadfoot's trophy. Mrs. Hotson 71 net, Miss Craig 78 net, Miss Calver 78 net. The final of the foursomes for the president's trophy is to be played this week-end. This match between Mesdames Hetet and Duncan and Mrs. Chadwick and Miss Walker is creating considerable interest, and a keen contest is expected. Mrs. Were will be umpire.

The finals of the Harrison Cup, between Miss Podevin and Mrs. Prescott, tmd the Empress Cup, between Miss Walker and Mrs. O'Connell, have to be completed by the following week-end.
