"Adventures of a Parliamentary Lobbyist," was the title of an address given to the Wellington Rotary Club recently by Mr. Charles Wheeler. Describing how Parliament is reported, he said that the Hansard reporters recorded everything verbatim, in five minute "takes," and were allowed half an hour to transcribe their notes on a typewriter; so that half an hour after a member had spoken he could read his remarks.
