ARIA GOLF BALL
ENJOYABLE ARIA FUNCTION. HALL PACKED TO CAPACITY. Recognised as the social event of the year for the district, the Aria Golf Ball was held in the Aria Hall on Wednesday of last week. In spite of a very wet night the hall was filled to capacity, visitor being present from as far afield as Hamilton and New Plymouth. The hall was tastefully decorated in a colour scheme of green and gold with streamers, balloons and coloured lights. The guests were received by the president, Mr. Hen. Carlyon, and Mrs. Carlyon, who wore a charming frock of blue georgette.
