MOTOR CYCLIST'S DEATH
INQUEST CONCLUDED. TANGITU JUNCTION COLLISION. * A verdict that deceased died in the Te Kuiti Hospital as a result of injuries received when the motor cycle he was riding collided with a van at Tangitu junction on the 15th ult., was given by the District Coroner, Mr. R. M. Somerville, at the inquest into the death of William Ronald Levet, aged 25. Death was due to laceration of the brain and shock, and no blame was attachable to the driver of the van. Evidence at the inquest was given by C. H. Schmidt, driver of the van, F. G. Dempsey, who was a pillion rider on the cycle at the time of the accident, Constable McLellan, Captain H. M. Rushworth, and deceased’s mother, Mrs. M. Miller.
