WEDDING
TRUST—WEBSTER. A wedding of some interest to King Country residents, especially to those in Pio Pio, was solemnised on Saturday, July 8, between Ina Stephina, twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Webster, of Mt. Albert, Auckland, and formerly of Pio Pio, and Joseph Arthur Trust, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Trust, of Paemako, Pio Pio. The bride, with her father, entered the church wearing a beautiful gown of magnolia French tinsel brocade cut on princess lines, with a short train. The hip-length magnolia tulle veil worn over her face was finished with a topknot of gold lame roses. She carried a cream Prayer Book with satin streamers previously used by her mother.
The bride was attended by her twin sister, Miss Jean Webster, who wore a frock of old gold moire satin taffeta modelled on the same lines as that of the bride, with a green tulle veil and a topknot of green orchids. Her bouquet was of green orchids and blue irises.
The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. D. Trust. The reception was later held at the Parnell Kiosk, where the bride’s parents received the guests. Mrs. Webster wore a swathed frock of bluegrey mist mermaid Jacquand, with small black peach bloom tricorne hat and fur coat finished with a spray of puise cyclamen. Mrs. J. E. Trust wore a brown tailored costume and brown hat and furs, with a spray of pink carnations.
