AMATEUR CYCLE CLUB

A distance of 18 miles was covered on Saturday by the Club’s riders. Fine weather again prevailed. The feature of the race was the splendid riding’ of A. Lee and S. Hall. The scratch men failed to catch the bunch and had to be content wth fastest times, G. Irvine again out-sprinting W. Grainger for fastest time. The results were: — A. Lee, 4 min 1 S. Hall, 4 min 2 A. Reilly, 5J min 3 Fatsest times: G. Irvine (scr.), 48min. 225.; W. Grainger (scr.) 48m. 22 1-5 s.; A. Lee (4m.), 51m.
