W.D.F.U.
MRS. C. P. OLSSON FAREWELLED. The usual fortnightly meeting, of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Friendly Society's Hall on Friday last. In the absence of the president, Mrs. Reinhardt, who is attending- the annual conference of the Union in Wellington, Mrs. W. A. Lee presided over a good attendance. After the formal business had been disposed of, Mrs. Lee made a presentation, on behalf of the Union, to Mrs. C. P. Olsson, of Waitomo, a valued member who is leaving to take up her residence in Feilding. Mrs. Lee referred to Mrs. Olsson's many good qualities and her generosity. Mrs. Olsson suitably replied and expressed her hope to visit Te Kuiti on some future occasion.
