OTOROHANGA SALE

COMPLETE CLEARANCE EFFECTED. VERY BUOYANT MARKET. On Wednesday, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., had a large entry of sheep comprising mainly ewe and wether hoggets, forward condition 2-tooth wethers, and 6-year in lamb ewes. The pig pens were filled to full capacity and there was also a good yarding of fat, boner and store cattle. A back country herd of Jerseys and Jersey cross dairy cows was offered and sold at satisfactory prices. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the King Country and the Waikato and competition was very keen throughout in all sections, a total clearance being effected. The sheep were mainly yarded in splendid condition and the auction realisations indicate this very definitely. The dairy herd cows were somewhat light in condition but made quite satisfactory realisations. We' quote;—
