Snow in Pio Pio.

For the first time for quite a while, snow fell in Pio Pio last Sunday :at about 8.30 a.m. Early in the morning although the air was very cold and everything was covered with a thick frost, the sun was shining. About half an hour later, there was light rain. This was shortly followed by the falling of snow. The fall was not very heavy, although in certain areas, as in Mairoa, the fall was quite thick. After the snow, quite heavy showers of rain fell. The sun finally appeared again. For the rest of the day, the weather was perfect. NGATAMAHINE SCHOOL. CONSOLIDATION WITH PIO PIO.
