Mrs. A. Allison leaves to-night to take up residence in Auckland.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Harris have returned from a holiday spent at Tauranga.

Miss Phoebe Morey, who is visiting Whangarei, returns from her annual holiday.on Wednesday next.

Mr. and Mrs. J. J. McLeod, formerly of Te Kuiti, where Mr. McLeod was manager of the Union Bank, are at present enjoying a trip to England, Scotland and the Continent.

Revs. E. W. Hancock, Te Kuiti, G. E. Williams, Pio Pio, W. T. F. Skey, Te Kuiti, and Mr. V. R. Smith, Pio Pio, attended the Waikato Diocese Synod in Hamilton last week.

To celebrate the coming of age on Sunday of Miss M. Nealon, an enjoyable morning tea was tendered to her by Messrs. H. R. White, Ltd., by the management and staff, when a presentation was made to the guest of honour.

Nursing Sister E. Fox, formerly a popular Plunket nurse in charge of Te Kuiti and Otorohanga districts, has returned'to settle in Otrohonga, where she will practise her profession in a private capacity.

After the Lodge football match, played during the week-end, opportunity was taken by the members of the Druids Lodge to make a presentation of a decanter and glasses to Mr. J. Barlow, who leaves at the end of this week to take up a position in Auckland. In making the presentation Mr. R. Seccombe said that the Druids Lodge would miss Mr. Barlow very much, both as a member of the Lodge and as a cricketer and footballer, but wished him the best of luck in his future home. Several other speakers endorsed Mr. Seccombes' remarks, including Mr. J. Evans on behalf of the Oddfellows' Lodge.

A silver tea service was presented to Mr. J. Barlow by the Te Kuiti Football Club and Kiwi Cricket Club at a social gathering of the former club on Saturday evening. In making the presentation, Mr. E. H. W. Tapp referred to the many years during which Mr. Barlow had taker! an active part in football for the Te Kuiti Club, the Club's successes having in no small measure been due to his capabilities and support. Numerous other speakers followed, it being pointed out that Mr. Barlow was one of the first members of the Kiwi Cricket Club. Mr. Barlow suitably replied.
