A Polish Government spokesman, summing up the Polish attitude to the Free City, said that Danzig must remain a separate entity outside the Reich'frontiers, and, secondly, it must remain inside the Polish Customs area. Thirdly, Poland's right in the city must not be at the mercy of any foreign Power, and, fourthly, the population must continue to enjoyfull iultural rights.
