KING COUNTRY MATCH.
PLAYING THAMES VALLEY ON SATURDAY.
As a special Show Week attraction the King Country Rugby Union have arranged for King Country’s first match, against Thames Valley, to be played on Rugby Park next Saturday. Great things are hoped from the King Country team this year, and opportunity is bound to be taken by a large number of followers of the game to see them in action on Saturday. The match between the Maniapoto and Otorohanga Maoris, to be played as the curtain-raiser, appears likely to be an evenly contested game that will be followed closely.
