WEDDING
SMITH—BILLINGS. A wedding of interest to Waimiha residents was celebrated in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday, when Mr. Kenneth Edward Smith, of Tamahere, was united in marriage with Miss Olive Billings, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Billings, of Waimiha. The Rev. W. T. Brabyn conducted the ceremony and Mrs. Brabyn presided at the organ. The bride, charmingly attired, was attended by her sister, Miss M. M. Billings, and the best man was Mr. A. G. Smith, brother of the bridegroom. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Carlton Tea Rooms and proved to be a very hearty function. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will take up their residence in the Tamahere district.
