KOPAKI STOCK SALE. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a sale at Kopaki on Monday, when a small yarding of sheep and a full yarding of cattle came before a bench of local buyers. The sheep attracted more attention than at recent sales, while the yarding of cattle maintained late rates. Quotations: Medium 5-year-old ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 245; poor conditioned broken mouth ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 8s; light fat Jersey cows £4 3s to £4 6s; forward condition £3 to £3 10s; boners 35s to £2 ss; forward condition S.H. bullocks £8 ss; small 2%-year-old Hereford-cross steers £5; medium 2y 2 -year-old P.A. and Friesian cross steers £4 10s; 2%-yr. P.A. and Friesian cross steers £4 10s; 2%-year-old Jersey steers £2 12s 6d to £3; good m.s. P.A. calves £4 Is; medium P.A. steer calves £3 12s; medium P.A. heifer calves £2 Is; fair Jersey heifer calves, poor condition, £3; small m.s. Hereford calves £2 7s 6d; medium 2-year-old Jersey heifers £5.
