KOPAKI SALE
A GOOD DEMAND. Messrs. Abraham and Williams report having held a sale at Kopaki on Monday, when a medium entry of cattle and sheep came forward. There was a good demand for all classes of cattle, especially good quality weaner steers, a pen of Hereford steers from Mr. S. Drinkrow making £4 17s. Sheep were dull of sale, though we quitted the bulk of the entry. Quotations: Fair f.m. ewes r.w.r., 21s 6d to 21s 7d; fair w.f. wether lambs 13s lOd; Downs, 10s 6d to 10s 9d; med. weight fat cows £6 10s, light £4 12s 6d to £5 ss; light fat heifers £5 to £6 10s; best weaner Hereford steers £4 17s; others £3 10s to £4; weaner heifers £2 Is to £2 3s; boner cows £2 10s to £4 12s; potter bulls £3 10s to £7.
