To the Editor). Sir,—l wonder how much longer we will have to put up with the present antiquated service. Such a disgusting contraption is surely unique for a borough the size and age of Te Kuiti. It is certainly nothing to be proud of (even with pneumatic tyres to lessen the din)., ,Now, which of our candidates for the Mayoralty is content to let this state of affairs exist for another 25 years? I would suggest that before the tar-sealing of road,s is undertaken, the water and sewerage services which eventually must come, should be completed.—l am, etc., RESIDENT.
