LAST WEEK-END’S MATCHES. TEAMS TO MEET OTOROHANGA. Only two rinks participated in games last Saturday, the remaining players devoting their attention to competition matches. ? Rink games resulted as follows: Hitchcock, Evans, Jones and Innes (s) 25, v. Fisk, Matthew, Read and Henderson (s) 20; Rundle, Stocken, Browne and Holah (s) 18,. v. Mills, Maskell, Hedley and McLeod (s) 16. The following were handicap singles results:—Reid beat Shakes j Shakes beat Haines; Wilson beat Reid, Haines beat Frerichs; Haines beat Andrew; Haines beat Thomas;; Shakes beat Wilson, Powdrill beat Gresham. ; Senior Championship: Dinsdale beat Andrews. • - ; Junior Championship: Douglas beat Hancock. ' A progressive pairs tournament was held during the week-end, 20 players taking part. McLeod and Thomas tied for the skips with four wins each. In the play-off McLeocl won. Shakes was the., successful lead with 4i wins. . t f Members are reminded of the visit from the Otorohanga Club on Saturday next. Te Kuiti were represented at the one-day tournament held at Hamilton East on Wednesday by Haines, Andrews, Frerichs and McLeod, winning three games and being narrowly defeated in the other two. !
