LADIES’ SECTION. Next Saturday the qualifying round for the. junior championship will be played (the first sixteen qualifying) in conjunction with an extra day’s score. The draw is as. follows. On Saturday next the qualifyinground for the senior and junior championships will be played, while a similar competition will be held for players on the limit handicap of 30. Sixteen players will qualify for each of the senior and junior. championships, the senior championship being limited to players with handicaps of 18 and under. Eight will qualify for the limit competition, but these players may also qualify for the junior championship. The draw is as follows:—Hine v. Fortescue; Brainsby v. Hemphill; S. Wilson v. Partners will be found for any members omitted from the draw at the links, and junior players are asked to see the Club captain on arrival at the Club house.

Trapski and Krogh have both reduced their handicap from 24 to 21, and Smith from 20 to 19.

The selection of players for the Blyde Cup to be played at Cambridge will be made on the results of the qualifying rounds. Players are requested to complete the first round of all Steedman-Her-bert Cup matches as soon as possible. -
