Chief Rabbi Hertz, in the presence of a large gathering of Jews, consecrated a synagogue aboard the liner Queen Mary, which to-morrow leaves Southampton on a 24 hours' cruise with a party of distinguished people, including the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
