CLASHES IN FRANCE.

Crowds estimated at between 250,000 and 400,000 packed the Champs Elysees during the Armistice parades and sang the International and the Marseillaise. Fascist groups marched to the Arc de Triomphe, while the. Communists shouted "assassins,," Several clashes occurred and a number of arrests were made. The National Deputy, M. Herriot was among those injured. Tension prevailed in the evening in boulevards where large forces of police broke up groups.
