UNLICENSED RADIO
SMALL FINE IMPOSED. A fine of 10s and costs 10s was imposed upon G. H. Hampson, of Kopaki, for being in possession of an unlicensed radio set, by Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. E. Batt, assistant radio inspector of Hamilton, said that when he called at Kopaki he found the defendant in possession of an unlicensed radio set. The defendant said he had had the set about two weeks, and previously to that another set for four weeks. ,
The defendant said that he had no intention of evading 1 the license fee. He had not decided definitely that he was going to keep the set at ’that juncture.
