HEALTH CAMPS

DOMINION-WIDE MOVEMENT.

MEETING TO-MORROW NIGHT.

To-morrow night a public meeting will be held in the Municipal>Chambers to discuss ways and means of raising funds to provide Health Camps for Children. This is a Do-minion-wide movement, and is worthy of the support; of all publicspirited citizens and organisations. It is hoped to raise £IO,OOO in New Zealand for this laudable objective, and an appeal is being made to every town to assist. It is hoped that another £20,000 will be raised by the sale of Health Stamps. ■'- There are thousands of children in the Dominion whose parents are unable to send them away to the country and the seaside for a change to their every-day surroundings, and it is oroposed to increase the number of holiday camps for these young people. The Mayor, Mr. Carroll, will preside, and a large number of organisations in this town have promised to assist in raising funds. It is hoped, however, that individual citizens and ladies will come forward and assist in the local effort to raise funds.
