K.C. RUGBY REPS.
SHORT TOUR TO BE COMMENCED. King Country Rugby representatives will begin a short tour on Saturday to play Thames Valley and Bay of Plenty. The southern members of the team will come to Te Kuiti by the 9.40 train where they will be joined by the Maniapoto representatives. J. Craig is not taking part in the tour, so there will now' be six, R. and J. Barlow, Trust, Turner, McLeod and Pickrang to represent the local Sub-Union. , The team will play Thames Valley at Paeroa on the Saturday, and on the following Wednesday will play Bay of Plenty at Tauranga. A prospective game in view for, King Country is with Taranaki on the 7th September, while a match has been arranged with Hawke's Bay Colts at Ohakune on 28th September.
