o TAUPIRI PIG SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report on their fortnightly Taupiri pig sale held on Monday as follows: A heavy entry of pigs came forward. Competition in heavy bacon was keen. Pork was easier, but store and weaner pigs sold well up to late rates. An even line of 30 prime baconers on account of H. J. Crampton, of Taupiri, averaged .£3 7s. Heavy baconers £3 5s to £3 10s; medium £2 15s to £3 2s; light £2 11s to £2 14s; heavy porkers £1 19s to £2 ss; medium £1 13s to £1 17s; light £1 5s to £1 10s; good stores 16s to £1; stores to 14s 6d; weaners 7s to 10s 6d; six-months-old Tamworth boars to £3 3s; sows with young to £3 10s. .
