ALLEGED MURDER
YOUNG MAN CHARGED. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 12.50 p.m.) Melbourne, this day. The finding of murder by some person or persons unknown was returned by the City Coroner at the inquest into the death of Ethel Balshaw who was strangled at Inverlock. Gordon Knight, a young man who was arrested in connection with the crime, is on remand to appear in the court next Friday.
The girl was found strangled when a picnic was being held on Ist January last. The girl and the accused had been attending the picnic.
