GORILLAS SEE A FILM.

BORED BY ENTERTAINMENT. Moina and Mok, the recently-arrived pair of young gorillas at the London Zoo, showed their loftv indifference to man’s idea of entertainment when the talking picture, “Congorilla,” was shown to them in their cage. Although men and women delight to watch the antics of other men and women on the screen, Moina and Mok were frankly bored by the antics of filmed gorillas. Moina declined to watch them at all. Mok glanced occasionally with a puzzled expression at the screen as if to say, “This doesn’t amuse me in the least,” and seemed more interested in the antics of learned scientists who stood outside in the rain to watch for “reactions.” Mok seemed, indeed, to be relieved when the film stopped, and it was once more possible to study the human species undisturbed.
