FINANCE EMERGENCY ACT. PENSION LIST REVISED. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 8.40 a.m.) Canberra, this day. Since the operation of the Financial Emergency Act on September 1, whereby relatives, where possible, are bound to contribute toward the pensions of those receiving them, 2000 invalid and old age pensions have already been surrendered in all the States. Another clause in the Act provides that any pension money paid after October 12 will become a charge on the property of the pensioner after his death.
