There is a good attendance and the track is good. Results:— GISBORNE HURDLES. 4 St. Ames (9.11) 1 7 —Atholspeare (9.8) 2 3—Kaiti 19.5) 3 Scratched: Neil, Monetize. Won by 11 lengths, length between second and third. Time, 2.55 1-5. TRIAL HANDICAP. 1— Black Songster (9.0) . . . . 1 5 Kahunoke (8.4) 2 2 Bird Call (8.8) 3 All started. Won by 12 lengths, length between second and third. Time, 1.16 1-5. WAIKANAE HANDICAP. 7—Head Serang (8.4) 1 2 Orbys Choice (8.5) 2 3 Teller (9.5) 3 Scratched: Tobboggan. Won by half a length, quarter length between second and third. Time, 1.46 3-5.
