REFEREES' ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Maniapoto Rugby Referees' Association was held on Saturday last in Lever's Rooms, Mr. G. Elliott presiding. The meeting was well attended and after the annual report had been read the election of officers was proceeded with, the following being elected for the ensuing year:—
Patron, Mr. J. Walsh; president, Mr. Hi Boles; secretary, Mr. A. Joseph; selector, Mr. G. Elliott; delegates to the Maniapoto Rugby Union, Messrs. J. Shepherd, E. Dudson and N. Ingpen. Several new members were also elected, and the general feeling in the meeting was that the prospects for the coming Rugby season were most satisfactory.
