LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN
TE KUITI TROOP. The first annual meeting of the Te Kuiti Troop, "L" Squadron, was held in Te Kuiti last Friday, March 18, there being a full attendance of members.
The divisional commandant, Colonel C. N. Vickeridge, paid an official visit' to the troop. He was accompanied by the squadron secretary, Lieutenant R. Pike. Lieutenant A. C. Finlayson was appointed troop leader for the ensuing year. His staff is to be Troop-Sergeant O. R. Cook, Corporal A. L. Flux, and Corporal J. T. K. Dodds, M.M., secretary. After the business was concluded the evening was spent in song, story, and a short toast list.
During the evening many humorous incidents that had occurred among the members in various parts of the world were recalled.
